Below is a list of players who were offered a spot for the Academy Program from our Spring 2012 tryouts. Please contact the respective Director to accept your spot and get registration information. Congratulations!

AYSA will be conducting training sessions in February for
people interested in becoming referees and an R9 class for current USSF certified referees.
Here are the classes that will be offered:
Club Referee
– This class is for younger players that are interested in refereeing, but are
not ready for the R9 certification.
Completing this class allows you to start with games in the U7 and U8
age levels. This class will be held at
the AYSA offices in the Arizona Lofts on Sunday, February 12th from 3:00PM to 4:30PM. The class is limited to 20 participants that
must register prior to the class. You

. Participants in this class should be at least
nine years of age.
R9 Entry Level
Referee - This class is the entry level class for USSF certified
referees. Completing this course allows you to be a referee on U14 or lower
recreational games or ...
AYSA will be hosting makeup Academy tryouts Tuesday, January 24th at Howard field from 5:30-7pm for both girls and boys. If you have any questions regarding tryouts, please contact your respective director:

The Girls Academy Spring tryouts will ONLY be held on Thursday, January 19th and will NOT be held on Friday, January 20th. If you are interested in trying out, please make sure to show up on Thursday fo ran evaluation. All tryouts will be held at Howard field. If you have any questions, please contact John Downey at

Thank you to the 40 players who participated in the U-14 boys' soccer clinic on 12/10. The weather was beautiful and everyone had a fantastic time. Weather permitting, the U-14 boys will host another fundraiser clinic in January or February. Thanks for supporting the boys' fundraising efforts!!
