Dates

The dates for tryout/evaluation and signing for all U9 - U19 Academy and Select teams are set by Georgia Soccer.  Please see the fields tab for directions to each field.

*Your age group is determined by how old you will be on July 31, 2013.  For example, if you are 9 on that date, you are "U10" or "under 10."

Mandatory Attendance

We expect ALL players to attend all tryout dates for their age group. In order to be selected for a team, a player MUST attend at least one date. Note that if a player only attends one session, it may hinder the evaluation of that player.  New for Academy this season:  team placement will be prior to the signing date, NOT after the first two weeks of fall practice.  

Registration for Tryouts

You must register for tryouts online at aysa.net.  Registration will be available by early May. 

Required Forms & What to Wear

Birth certificates (for players who are not currently part our Academy or Select program) and medical release forms  (for ALL players, new and returning - these DO NOT need to be notarized) must be turned in at TRYOUTS.  

Returning Inter Atlanta Academy and Select players should wear either their practice jersey or game jersey with their number on the back.  

Roster Announcements

Rosters will be announced within 72 hours of the final tryout. Coaches will CALL the number listed in registration to notify of your child's roster placement. Please make sure the number you list is your primary number.

• Assuming no additional days will be needed for rain, all rosters will be announced for ACADEMY by Sunday, June 2nd at 8:30pm. 
• Assuming no additional days will be needed for rain, all rosters will be announced for SELECT by Sunday, June 9th at 8:30pm.

Financial Aid

Players interested in applying for financial aid for the season should submit paperwork and forms by the end of tryouts.
